Fix Buffering, Login, EPG & ISP Blocks (Fast)

This page helps you solve the most common issues in under 2 minutes. If you still need help, contact our 24/7 technical support.

30-Second Reset

Do this first — it fixes most problems.

  • Restart your IPTV app
  • Restart router (unplug 15 sec)
  • Try another channel

Speed Check

For HD/4K you need stable speed (not just “fast”).

  • HD: 10 Mbps+
  • FHD: 20 Mbps+
  • 4K: 35 Mbps+

ISP / Network Block

If it works on mobile data but not Wi-Fi, it’s often ISP filtering.

  • Try 4G/5G hotspot
  • Change DNS
  • Contact support

Buffering / Freezing

Usually caused by Wi-Fi instability, overloaded device, or ISP filtering. Follow these steps in order.
Fix in 1–3 min Works on all devices

Do This First

  1. Restart your IPTV app.
  2. Restart router (unplug 15 sec, plug again).
  3. Switch to 5GHz Wi-Fi (or move closer to router).
  4. Try a different channel (some channels are heavier).

Improve Streaming Quality

  1. Use Ethernet cable (best for TV Box / Smart TV).
  2. Close background apps (especially on Android / Firestick).
  3. In your player: set Decoder = Hardware (if available).
  4. Change player: try IPTV Smarters / TiviMate / VLC.
If buffering happens only on Wi-Fi but works on mobile data, it may be an ISP block. Go to ISP Blocks.

Login Issues (Username/Password/URL)

Most login errors are caused by wrong URL format, extra spaces, or wrong login method.
Most common issue Easy fix

Correct Way to Enter Details

  1. Use Xtream Codes API when possible.
  2. Copy/paste carefully — no spaces before/after username or password.
  3. Server URL must include http:// or https:// if the app requires it.
  4. If one app fails, try another app (different apps validate differently).

Common Error Messages

  1. “Invalid details” → wrong user/pass or extra spaces.
  2. “Could not connect” → wrong URL, ISP block, or network issue.
  3. “Account expired” → subscription ended (contact support).
  4. “Max connections reached” → too many devices (upgrade plan or close devices).
Best support screenshot: error message + app name + device model (example: “Firestick 4K Max / Smarters”).

EPG Not Showing (TV Guide)

EPG depends on your app settings + correct time zone + using Xtream Codes.
Guide / Schedule Fix in 1–2 min

Fast Fix Steps

  1. Make sure you logged in with Xtream Codes API (recommended).
  2. In app settings: Update / Refresh EPG.
  3. Set your device time to Automatic.
  4. Wait 2–5 minutes for EPG to populate (first time load).

If Still Not Working

  1. Clear app cache or reinstall the IPTV app.
  2. Try another app (some apps show EPG better).
  3. Some channels may not have full guide for your region.
  4. Contact support to verify EPG sync for your device/app.
Tip: On Smart TVs, some apps show EPG only after you open a channel once.

ISP Blocks / Network Restrictions

If IPTV works on mobile data but not on home Wi-Fi, your ISP/router settings may be limiting streaming.
Very common Fix options

Quick Tests

  1. Try 4G/5G hotspot — if it works, ISP filtering is likely.
  2. Try a different IPTV app (some use different streaming methods).
  3. Restart router and test again.

Fix Options

  1. Change DNS in your router/device (example: 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8).
  2. Use a stable VPN if needed (support can recommend).
  3. Disable “Safe browsing / Parental control” in router settings.
  4. Contact support for the best solution for your country/ISP.
We do not recommend random free VPN apps (slow + unstable). Use a trusted VPN only if required.

Quick FAQ (Most Asked)

These answers reduce 80% of customer messages.
Save time 24/7 support
Why is one channel buffering but others are fine?

Some channels are heavier (FHD/4K). Try changing player/decoder or switch Wi-Fi to 5GHz / Ethernet.

What does “Max connections reached” mean?

Your plan allows a limited number of devices at the same time. Close IPTV on other devices or upgrade to more connections.

EPG takes long to load (first time) — normal?

Yes. First load can take a few minutes depending on your app/device. Refresh EPG and keep device time on automatic.

Does TREX work on all devices?

Yes. Smart TV, Android, Firestick, iOS, PC/Mac — use a compatible IPTV player and your login details.
